Learn more about William in our Q&A:
What inspired you to pursue your chosen major?
WB: Since I was a kid, I always liked to take devices apart and examine their innards. I figured I might as well study how to do that on a professional level.
What do you like to do for fun?
WB: I like to tinker with my e-bike and nerf guns in my free time.
What do you like most about working at Parametric Studio?
WB: I love that I get to design the kind of kits I would have loved to have as a kid.
What would you like to see change or improve in STEM education?
WB: I think the current movement to include more hands-on STEM learning at the elementary and middle school levels is very effective, and that more resources should be earmarked for that purpose.
Where do you see STEM education in the next 10 years?
WB: I think that a more universal set of science standards will be established and adopted, and we will see an influx of creative lesson plans and kits to meet those standards.
